tidbits of information
i really wanted to use the word "Random" as an adjective for the tidbits of information that my subject line refers to... however I realized that practically every single one of my entries has the word "random" as the subject. so I refrained.
basically I'm too lazy to update as things come up and are on my mind, so I end up doing a general update about everything that has been going on and it feels random to me.
so Charles got his letter from Stanford today. He didn't get in. it's weird, i knew it was hard to get in, but I always thought he'd get it. He's really bummed, we all are bummed for him. It's weird because he never thought it was a guarantee that he would get in... but when you want something really bad you kinda plan out your life around it. Now that the dream of Stanford has isn't going to become a reality, he has to envisiona new reality. It's going to be weird for him. There really isn't anywhere else he is dying to go... he hasn't really looked into other schools that seriously though. The thing that really sucks is that two of his Damian friends that applied both got in. Probably because of the Damian name... which sucks because the school doesn't even stand up to its reputation. Its going to suck even more if some of his other friends that applied during regular application (he applied early ap) get in. My heart breaks for him. God must know what he is doing though...
