Kathy tells me she worried I might've died/fallen of the face of the earth, so I suppose it's time for a real post :P
My life appears to be trapped in a perpetual cycle of blahness right now. Granted these past few weeks have been jam-packed with work, but even so I don't think that's justification for how socially unsatisfying things have been lately. I suppose this is largely due to the fact that I can't remember the last time I spent the weekend here at school....or atleast the entire weekend. That puts a significant damper on one's college social life. Hopefully this coming weekend will put an end to all of that. Keeners is coming down for little sibs weekend. Apparently we're signed up to do all the totally cool activities again (including our favorite, the limo scavenger hunt. HOLLA.). so yay for that. There is also a Polish Sausage Fest this weekend hosted by everyone's favorite sausage-lover, Kevin Dugan. I told Dugan I really don't see how this party will be any different from his usual gatherings since they're always sausage fests....haha yeah, i said it. i said what we were all thinking.
In addition to being shamefully unsocial these past few weeks, I've been busy planning out my wicked hahdcore schedule for next year. Course selections are next week, so I've been getting that together. But on a more exciting and more interesting note, I should also be insanely busy with a variety of commitments outside of classes.....which makes me happy. being insanely busy gives structure to the blob that is my world, and forces me to improve my poor time management skills. but to get to the point, if all goes as planned I will hopefully be:
1. employed at the FAC or the Center For Values and Services (I go for an interview next thursday)
2. working at the campus radio station, WLOY, hopefully as a DJ
3. leading my very own Koinonia group! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! excitement!!
neato, yes yes??
yes yes.
in other news, my family was taking care of the world's most adorable kitten during easter break. his name was Cuddles, but that name is pretty sad, so I re-named him Nemo. He was far too badass to be a Cuddles. My stuffed rabbit is named Cuddles....and he has a bowtie. SO not badass. so I spent the majority of easter break playing with said kitten and dropping not-so-subtle hints to my parents about our need for a kitten of our very own. alas, my mom is convinced that all cats will grow up to be as dumb and evil as our current fuzzy hell-beast, Persie, so that's a no go. oh well. ::le sigh::
now, only because I have recieved permission from greg and lauren k to do so, I shall post a tribute to their most hilarious/embarassing pictures of all time. enjoy:
