RPG List and a new Kitten! :D

Jul 29, 2008 02:38

So I ended up with a "free" kitten a few days ago. I say "free" because we had to take her to the vet to get shots and to have a bath. She was covered in fleas, it was really gross.. Sure our cats have a few, we ARE surrounded by fields. So its not unexpected, but you could SEE them crawling all over her. Ugh. D: So our "free" kitten ended up ( Read more... )

I was already expecting kitten pics! >_o Although since you mentioned that visible fleas were crawling all over your kitten, maybe not. Man I can't imagine even touching the kitten and not getting away with fleas all over my skin biting me @_ ( ... )

I did end up with 2 flea bites, one on my knee and one on my shin. Both got bright red and got infected too. e_e; I dont ever recall this happening when I was younger.. Either that or they were spider bites lol..

Its Dragon Quest 4, 5, and 6. They're completely remade with new grapics and a new translation. I think. They look new to me. I only played 1, 2, 3, 7, and 8.. So I cant say for sure if they look different or not, but I'm 80% sure they are. Also the Dragon Quest games are on the DS. Star Ocean 1 and 2 are for the PSP.

I didn't know Star Ocean 2 let you choose.. I am now very hyped for it. X3 January can't come fast enough now.

As for the games I've listed, I've played and beat (or almost beat) all except Wild Arms 2 and the Izuna games (I dont own them..)

I am thinking of getting Izuna 2, since in this one you get party members.. And I have Breath of Fire 1 and 2 on the GBA, and 3 on the PSP.

And lol X3 It just happens I think?

Ew, spiders. I'd much rather have fleas than spiders, thank you very much. Preferably none of the above. ;D ( ... )

I had Dragon Quest 1 - 3 on the game boy.. color? o_o; I know I played them on a GBC but I cant remember if they were normal GB games or GBC.. I never beat them though, I should have added Dragon Quest 3 to the list though, I remember playing as a girl in that one. Maybe I'll rebuy it so I can beat it. X3 ( ... )

As for minigames, I played BoF3 in high school (1996-2000) so I don't really remember much about minigames. I don't think there were any that gave you significantly good items, as the only game I remember was fishing.

Yes, I've played the (old) Shining Force games. The first one I've played on genesis emulator, but later beat it on GBA; it was only... average.

The second was on genesis (emulator) and is by far my favorite; I never beat it however... I got towards the last few stages until the witch in the intro told me my save file got corrupted =(. I think they might be porting it to the Wii Virtual Console. (According to wiki anyways.)

The third one I played a little at a friends house. Only the first of three scenarios for Shining Force 3 was released in the US, and I never had another chance to play it, as it was only on the Saturn.

They have a bunch of other Shining Forces for the PS2, but I've never played them; Rissy has some of them though.

I have 2 for the PS2, Shining Tears and Shining Force Exa.. Tears has beautiful artwork for its characters, but it makes up for bad enemy AI by over loadin the map with eneimies which causes teh game to lag. :/ Shining Force Exa is okay, it has really nice character grahpics and every armor peice changes your appearence. (for both heros. :3) I havent beat it yet though, got bored. x3 ( ... )

Sword of Mana is a remake of the original Seiken Densetsu (known in the US as Final Fantasy Adventures) for the regular Gameboy. The original didn't have classes... I don't remember if the "classes" make any difference the game. I remember trying to make one warrior class and one magician class, but I got bored halfway through.

My brother has a DS, but I don't think I'm gonna try it anytime soon. Though I'd like to see how 4 turned out. It's one of my favorite NES rpgs. Back in those days RPGs weren't known for having much of a plot; this has a decent one among the rest of the NES rpgs out there.

Really? XD Oh wow I remember trying final fantasy adventures ages back at a friends house before I ended up with a game boy color. I was thinking of hunting it down too. Guess I don't need to now though.

Well I'll be getting 4, so if I like it I'll make sure to say so. I think it'll be good, it got good reviews in Japan.. but then again they love anything related to dragon quest. o_o;
