Internship, golf, the weekend
After months and months and months of procrastinating, I think I may have found myself an internship. WOOT! I made a few calls two days ago, and immediately heard back from the program director of the Best Buy Wellness Zone at their corporate headquarters. I'm awfully jacked since it was my #1 choice out of the others. From my understanding, it's a fitness center for employees ... I think? I'll find out more on Monday when I meet with the director and check out the BB campus! I. am. so. ex.cite.ed. for. this! ...... even though I won't be paid, most likely. Ha. The experience itself will be worthwhile :)
In other news, I have come to the conclusion that I need to take up the sport of golf. My father has always told me it was a "lifetime sport", and that I should give it a try. So, here I am, 23 years old and wanting to learn how to golf. I've mastered (sorta, but not really) wii golf... think the skills will transfer? My brother bought new clubs today too, and I think I will be inheriting his old clubs. Hollerrrrr. This could be funny.
The fam and I will also be venturing up to the cabin this weekend. I'm way stoked. Tis been a while since I've seen my grandparents, or been up North. My plans for the weekend are as follows: a) get tan with beverage in hand, b) swim, c) boat, d) tube or ski, e) eat hella good food, f) bike the woodsy trails and hopefully not get run over by 4-wheelers, and of course g) spend quality time with my wonderful family. It's going to be a good weekend!
