Extended Leave of Absence from LJ
My homepage advises me it has been nearly 120 weeks since my last post.
I actually started making calls to find an internship yesterday. What a pain in the arse. Luckily, however, I got a call back from the Best Buy Wellness Zone this morning, AND they'll have 3 intern openings in August. YAY! I'm hoping to stop by and learn more about the place this coming Monday. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
On the other end of the happiness spectrum this morning, I found out one of my dear co-workers is in jail. It definitely came as a shock. Apparently there was a warrant out for his arrest in Rochester, and they were finally able to get him when they had a party at their house on Friday. I find it ironic since the other day we were conversing about how most of his friends from home were in jail, including his brother. I know I probably shouldn't be sympathetic, but I am. I'm going to miss the kid. He seems to be a good kid who just got mixed up in the wrong crowd.
Mmmm I better continue getting ready for work. Ryan and I are having another pizza and vino night; I'm excited to see the handsome gent! :P
