Happy Friday!
So glad it's Friday, my day off from work! I work maxi-flex, so I can tailor my hours the way I want to. I had lunch with some girls from work at an Indian restaurant--yummy! I'm not that brave yet and trying different kinds of foods, but I do like the curry chicken, samsosa (?) and nan!
Now what to do the rest of the day, except spend it at the bookstore? lol I'd go out, but I really don't like to be out in the sun (unless I'm covered up). Dropped a check off at the realtor's office. Now all we're waiting on is the appraisal; hopefully we'll be able to move in at the end of the month!
Maybe I'll go and buy season 2 of "True Blood"; I LOVE that show!
Just got a call from my Army buddy HettDog! I haven't heard from her in a long time! She is finally off of active duty and is on terminal leave. She's back in Virginia and it's sweltering over there. She was in Iraq last year and injured her foot, so they sent her back to Ft. Eustis, VA to recuperate. I was supposed to go too, but we all know how that ended up. Anyway, so good to catch up with her!
