Oh I'm glad that the package arrived. I was going to send you Kuromame (for new year) but I was worried it would turn into bean paste when it got to you.

I hope you liked the books!

Yes! Go for it! From what I remember it's quite a good deal, money-wise. :-)

Honey - as I hope I said adequately in my comment - this was a truly outstanding piece of artwork. And I know Melusina - not well, but we've met, and she's an awesome lady, and I can't think of a better match of style and mood to temperament.

I know you blush and disclaim, but I still consider you one of the most impressive artists I've ever encountered - amateur or professional (and yes, I do have a few friends who are professional artists in one field or another).

The very simplicity of the style in this piece was its strength. I was moved, as I continue to be moved by your creativity, your generosity, and your amazing, innate talent.

*hugs*

Thank you very much for commenting and for all the encouraging messages you have given me for so long. I just want you to know that I live on them - if they weren't there I wouldn't have been able to churn out those 30+ pages.

I wish to have RL friends who are artists, but all I have is an artist Uncle whom I haven't spoken with for years. Still I respect and look up to him. You're right - to be called an artist makes me blush, as I don't think myself skilled enough to be one, not to mention an impressive one. But I do want to deserve to be called one some day. :-)

Once again, thank you very much. I'll be replying to the comments at the comm soon.

*hugs back*

I didn't follow hd_holidays this time, but I saw your art today and think it's just gorgeous. I love the idea of the curse and the story you told.

Your art is such a joy and pleasure - it moves me every time you post something and thus share your talent with us.

Thank you so much.

I saw your artwork a week ago and though I haven't commented on it yet, it's one of my favourite (if not the favourite) artworks of the fest. You are a wonderfully talented person, m'dear, you just never fail to wow me every time. *hugs*

AU h/ds hmm? I have an AU reclist here, you might be able to find something you'll like. :)

Thank you very much for taking the time to view the art, and I'm thrilled to hear that it was one of your favorite in the fest, given that there were so many wonderful art there.

And thanks for the link to the AU stories. I'm going to check them out :-)

WOW. It's wonderful! I love the different technique and the simplicity of the few colours used. Also it must have taken ages as there are so many panels. It feels almost like a film in a way, because of how you put up text with the slides and it goes on and on -a whole long story, very cool. :D
I love how there is death because of a curse that makes a flowering plant grow out of you(r heart?), it's visually such a great contrast of beautiful and horrific, especially since you draw beautiful flowers. And the sad ending *sniff* can be taken as ambiguous so I shall hope for a miraculous save. :)

I have only followed a few fests for a few days until december turned crazybusy and it was impossible for me to keep up, so I am happy you posted in your journal as well. :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to view the art. This is possibly the art I spent the most time and heart on, and the one I cared least about the amount of reaction from viewers. I'm so grateful that you took the time to look at the art, and more grateful that you understand.

The curse being so because I love flowers, but given my current living situation I am unable to grow the ones I love. I want to have plants like Carla Lily, Jasmine, Lily, tuberose, and all other fragrant plants, but I don't have space either indoor or outdoor, and that's why I decided to draw them. :-)

Yeah I know about the fest thing at the end of the year. Neither do I follow many of them. Hell, I have only read <5 fics in hd_holidays, partly because I was busy drawing my submission, and partly because I have somewhat lost interest in the ship. I hope things would improve later. :-)

Thanks again, for your lovely review! I truly appreciate it.
