Working On My New Place. Pics!
This is the accent wall in my bedroom. You can't really tell, but the wall is dark eggplant colored. I tried to get all three colors since I painted the other three walls light lavender and I painted the ceiling a pink color that is so light it's nearly white.Also, I think the trim looks really good. It pops against the other colors. Latex paint on walls and ceiling. Oil based on trim. Walls are Eggshell finish. Ceiling is flat finish. Trim is High Gloss finish. Walls were painted with Glidden colors. Trim and ceiling with Benjamin Moore Super Spec.

Nearly finished bedroom. I heart that tapestry. I don't know if those drapes are going to stay, though. I just hung them on the spur of the moment, because after I fell and jacked my back it was hard to sleep in the daytime since that is a west facing wall. The sun at about four o'clock in the afternoon was killin' me and those drapes are heavy tapesty and lined.

I had moved in here, but didn't have everything put away yet. You can see my living room furniture in the background as well as that I have painted the sunroom a color called Citrus Punch from Glidden: Satin finish.
I took these two pics of the sunroom, off my bedroom, just a few minutes ago hoping to just get a fairly good pic of the new curtains that I had to drive all the way to Memphis to get. They are patterned sort of like an Indian Sari. At least that's what it looks like to me. I think they are made of cotton and are very sheer so that they still let the sunlight through in the day but keep out the glare so I can watch the tube if I want to. I'm also thinking about getting a cover for that little green chair. Something bright. It also needs a new seat cushion. As you can see, everything in my new place is a work in progress. I apologize for the poor quality of the picks. I had to take them with my cell since my digi cam has died and gone to digi cam heaven.
