Disappointment abounds: HetLex rant

Nine months ago- a pregnancy away- alexanderland was born and I hate to see all my fears have turned out to be true.

As an avid reader and writer of fanfiction it had come to my attention that there are very few blogs and forums devoted to hetLex fiction and art and thought it was a good idea to do something about it.. Thus

I'm mostly into Clex, as you know, but I like Chlark and Chlex as well. I tried Naughty Seductions after you were kind enough to tell me about it, but there didn't seem to be much new stuff posted and...it may easily just be me being clueless, but the site didn't seem very user friendly.

Maybe you joined at a time when people were busy with college or on holidays. The community is still very active and there are new stories posted and updated practically every day. As to the trouble navigating it, maybe it´s got to do with the fact that forums work different from blogs. I´m more of a forum-creature than a blogger myself. I prefer it because so far, it´s what´s worked best for me.

But as long as what you write pleases you and you enjoy doing it, keep writing. There really aren't as many Clex readers/writers still running around as you seem to feel.

Surfing the net and checking out blogs I got the opposite impression. Compare the amount of feedback and you´ll see what I mean.

That pool party has gradually been getting smaller and fewer just like the Chlark and Chlex pools.

The Chlark pool is going strong, even now. They´ve always been a stubborn ship fighting against all odds. We Chlexers have always been in the minority, I´m afraid.
