Last night I started writing a screenplay adapting Shirley Jackson's last novel, We Have Always Lived in the Castle, for the big screen. Do I know how to write a screenplay? Nah. But it'll be a good exercise. I almost never write anymore. And besides, damn it, this needs to be made into a movie. I suppose I'll just have to do it myself (assuming no one else has done it or is doing it).
