Plot Twist
I got a call 45 minutes before I had my alarm set to wake up in anticipation of my mom's arrival last night. They had car trouble and had to turn around and head back home so that they didn't get stranded. They might be coming up next weekend instead.
I'm kinda bummed, but it worked out for the best. I stayed up a little later than I expected watching MTV's So You Think You Can Dance marathon, so I was looking at getting a whole lot of no sleep this weekend. And this would have made work terrible tomorrow morning.
