Since it looks like all hope for a fair election is dwindling very fast and the next best thing to Hitler is taking over, I have decided to maintain a make the best of a really bad situation. (It's going to be Zimbabwe all over again).

I have opted to follow Matthew Bellamy's take on the world...or rather the end of the world. I read he's heavy into the apocalypse and aliens and conspiracy theories (which we all know are true...of course! pfsh!) I have always been fascinated by the 'end of days' in a kind of 'morbid fascination' way so the idea doesn't upset me half as much as it should. Sure it's not going to be pleasant but how much more upset can you get over your ultimate demise if you're expecting it. Old idiot Zuma taking on presidency will be like the last seal, smashed open wide and the world will be thrown into chaos, darkness will take control and all good things in the world (like ice-cream and slash fiction) will disappear like a whisper in a hurricane *notes inspiring metaphor for future use*. If I can't stop it, I might as well enjoy it.

This isn't saying that I've given in to despair or hopelessness, I hate whining and that's all that despairing people do...is whine! So from today I'll calmly look out on the world, thank it for allowing us time on it and giving us small glimpses of what heaven could be, and say goodbye. It's all overrated. It can all end in one major battle. I hope I go down fighting or laughing (preferably both - and it's maniacal laughter)

Apocalypse Please!
