Updating livejournal is the BEST way to procrastinate school work. I have a seminar presentation on Monday, and two essays due next Friday. It's not much work compared to previous years, but I'm still uber-stressed.
I remember that when my mother was on her Johnny Depp kick, we watched Crybaby a few years back. I thought it was the most horrid movie ever; tacky, not comedic in the least, and poorly acted. Even my mother seemed a bit shocked at it (and she loved anything that Johnny was in).
However, now that there's a musical adaptation of it, I suddenly REALLY REALLY REALLY want to see it again. The musical is starring James Snyder in the title role, and it has been getting fantastic reviews during the previews in San Diego. It won't debut in Broadway until 2008, but I hope an audio is released before then. James Snyder really does look horrid with the required black hair, though. I almost wish they had kept him blonde :p
Working up the nerve to ask a professor for a reference letter. It's not easy, and I'm scared out of my mind. What if I'm told no? It will be very embarassing to see that professor next week. . .
I'm so horrible at scripting out e-mails.
