*preens*

Well I was going with "Arthur is reincarnated over and over while Merlin, forever young, just lives on and on (thus the decay of memory)"

If I rename him I'd call him Hawkeye >=D

i imagine the following exchange on the exchange of names...

"You're serious, it really is 'Marlin'?"
"*sigh* Yes, BRYAN."
"Sounds a bit fishy to me."
"Oh, ha ha ha. Coming from a bloke named after a Canadian singer?"

LOL! X-D
And it's only a letter away from Marilyn.

But I suppose Marlin is still better than Mervin or Melvin...No wait, Mervin is better than Marlin, and Marlin is better than Melvin.

Bryan Adams is Canadian?

Marlins are like a cheap knock-off version of a seafaring unicorn *g*

Yay for Merv lol

yes, bryan adams is canadian. Funny thing though, I always associate him with the coasts of ireland.

On a hysterical side note, the old stub for the black marlin entry on wiki has been noted for copyright infringement... wtf?? rofl

i think it's one of his music videos from when we were kids, shows him on the coast of ireland, distinctive landmarks etc.

marlin = swordfish XD

but it's stupid in the discussion of scientific general knowledge! that's like saying "okay, only the people who buy this book or subscribe to this website can know what this particular kind of animal is" >.> as for plagiarism.... wtf would you be plagiarising in attempting to concisely describe an animal? its personal diary? *rolls eyes*

The only two Bryan Adams music video I've ever seen:
- "Anything I do (I do it for you)"
- smth along the line of "The only thing that looks good on me/ is you."
=P

Hee okay, fish names confuse me X-D

wtf would you be plagiarising in attempting to concisely describe an animal? its personal diary?

X-D WIN.

i remember marlins because on this MUD i used to play in highschool, they infest the waters of a coastal town that i forget why i keep trying to go to and they'd always kill me and have me for supper. Blue Marlins, they were. Then one day, I started killing them instead XD oh joyous day, marlin steaks all round heh.

OMG Spice Girls it feels so long ago X-D
*hums "Wannabe"*

My brother's convinced that they lied about their age (he thinks they're 20-25 when they first debuted)

oh, quite plausibly.
it's people that suddenly age in multiples of 2 and 3 every year that makes me grin

also, funnily, the bryan adams song that got me to like bryan adams was "When You're Gone", the duet with Mel C.
