Yesterday was Kristin's awesome surprise birthday party at Squan Pizza. Kudos to Jessica for party planning and cupcake making. Jess, Meg, Ray, Sean, Andrea, and me all waited as Ray called Kristin to tell her he was all alone. Then Kristin walked in and didn't even notice we were there with balloons and party plates. Andrea got confetti that said "Kristin" that was snazzy. So were Megan's cards. Sean just left, went to Eckerd, bought completely random Halloween items, then asked some kid outside to deliver them.

Afterwards, we walked through Manasquan with party hats on and a bunch of balloons. It's really nice to walk down the street and give people balloons. Then Megan helped me come to the conclusion that one of my life goals is to invent biodegradible balloons. Balloons make people happy, but they're hazards to the environment. So if we made biodegradable balloons, and gave them to people, then the world would be a better place.

We went to the park. There we got yelled at. I hate the park at night.

Yet the night was still fun. Meg, Sean, and Steph (who joined us) played some intensly competitive DDR at Gigi's. There we played charades. I love that game.

Today was the second rehearsal for The Frontpage. I knew today was CBA's open house, and I thought it was poor planning to have rehearsal the same day because a number of boys had to help out. Today I found out that rehearsal was scheduled today for a very particular reason. When the parents and prospective students were given a tour through the school, it looked really great to have a rehearsal going on in the theater. We felt like we were on display, like in a zoo or museum. Much to some people's amusement, some of the foulest language in the show came along right during a tour. By the end I knew the tour guide's entire scripted speech about drama and theater at CBA. I also spoke to Jeff for the first time in months.

Afterwards I went to my aunt's "French party". It was essentially a reunion of most of the people she's traveled to France with. While I felt a little crowd overthere, I'm not about to complain. The food was really good. Ratatouille is really awesome.
