I saw the Pope today!
Georgetown gave us the opportunity to get tickets to see the Pope's departure from Catholic University. I can't believe I had second thoughts about going. It was was one of the coolest and weirdest things I've ever done, mostly because the atmosphere was reminiscent of a Catholic Woodstock, with people dancing to drums and tambourines on Catholic's lawn. And protests. Really, is it necessary to protest the Pope?
In the end, though, I caught a glimpse of Pope Benedict XVI, driving by in his Popemobile. This is probably a once in a lifetime experience.
