I went for a run this morning and realized, "Dear God, this is an amazing place to be."
Its a beautiful September. This weekend, life became nearly everything I imagined college to be. This afternoon, I sat outside on Healy Lawn to do homework. These magnificent buildings were behind, people were spread all over the lawn, studying, playing football, hanging out. There I was in the midst of it, comfortable in my jeans and college t-shirt, sitting in the sun with a cool breeze blowing through the grass and my French books lying on the ground.
I think this was my mental picture of college.
Its not all perfect here, but its pretty cool.
