Guess I've been over doing it.

Some of this might be TMI guys, and kinda long, my apologies in advance!

I feel like a moron.. I got home from the hospital with alex, and pretty much just resumed life as normal. (without work of course) and now I am paying for it.

I go back to work on the 14th (I work from home for the dept of labor ) I Only work 30 hours a week so OB said it was okay to go back early before anyone freaks out lol!

But...

I barely rested the first week at all, I was still cooking every meal, doing all the cleaning, laundry etc. I even went to the mall with hubby (totally HAD TO) to get some nice nursing bras at Motherhood mat. Made numerous trips to walmart getting the last bit of stuff we needed for DS etc etc.

Hubby helped me at night with feedings etc, but he went back to work last thursday and OF COURSE had to come down with a bad cold now.. I have been dealing with baby all night by myself. Luckily he sleeps pretty good at night already and just wakes up for feeding/change and goes right back down most nights.

But all this has lead up to the fact that I am still in pain sometimes.. ALOT of pain. I tore pretty bad and I feel lots of pressure in both my vagina and in my rectum. I am pretty sure the rectum pressure is due to the nice little roid I found. Sad to say I had no problems all pregnancy and then get one from delivery. It's an internal one too. I only found it by washing in the shower. (so sorry tmi!!!) It actually doesn't hurt at all unless I am going potty,  which I know I read a million times about how horrible it is. I haven't had any problems in that dept at all.

The tear is still painful, and I think it's prob because it goes from my left labia all the way inside, and it was described to me as "being long and jagged" sounds nice eh? I can defiantly feel the sutures on the outside, I thought they'd be disappearing by now but it still hurts!

But the sutures still hurt.. and they hurt the most when I am going to the bathroom. Now of course most of this could be because I am a big girl and sitting on the toilet isn't the most comfortable thing right now for me. Everyone keeps telling me the pressure was everything "going back to normal." and now people are telling me it's cuz I'm not resting enough. Welp the entire weekend I pretty much just stayed in bed, and guess what.. ALOT less pain.

Now when I sit on the toilet I only start feeling the pain near the end of the whole session (you know peeing, peri bottle, then changing pad etc etc lol)

So I told hubby that since this is my last week off I am totally going to lay in bed all week. I will toss in a load of laundry etc etc as that is easy and I can fold clothes in bed, but dinner and everything else is left up to him and grandma. I still take care of baby at night since I have to pump anyways.
But yeah.. I am off limits! I Need more rest so my butt can handle sitting in an office chair for 6 hours a day! Cuz right now I can barely stand 30 min before I feel pain!
