LOL HONESTLY I KNOW NEXT TO NOTHING ABOUT THE BACKSTREET BOYS BECAUSE I WAS LIKE SIX OR SEVEN OR EIGHT WHEN THEY WERE POPULAR AND I DIDN'T LISTEN TO MUSIC BACK THEN, BUT I'M SO GLAD YOU HAD FUN!

I'm glad I got into this lulzy side of the SPN fandom. Like, I started in the right place.
ME TOO BB. tenth-bananas and I were watching the series at basically the same time--and I was even a few episodes ahead of her--but after I finished season two I had to go to my grandparents' house for a month, where they still had AOL, so she beat me. BUT SO ANYWAY she was calling me and telling me about how amazing Misha was and that she found this amazing place called Mishaland and BASICALLY: MISHALAND WAS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH FANDOM AND I AM SO GLAD! IT HAS LED ME TO AWESOME THINGS.

LETTERS: YES BUT NOT UNTIL I SEND YOU YOURS. I NEED SOMETHING THAT I CAN'T GET HERE AND MY MOMMY NEEDS TO SEND IT TO ME FIRST. I SHOULD PROBABLY JUST SEND THE CARD ALREADY BECAUSE IT'S NOT THAT IMPORTANT BUT I WANT TO SO YOU HAVE TO WAIT.

HAHAHA P.S. - THE BACKSTREET BOYS ARE AMAZING POP AND I MEAN THEIR MUSIC IS KIND OF CATCHY AND USUALLY HILARIOUS AND I WILL TOTES GIVE YOU THE ALBUMS IF YOU EVER WANTED TO LISTEN <3

Mishaland was also my first experience with the SPN fandom and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better comm. I forget how I found it (I think it was through the SuperWiki?) but I actually dusted off my LJ for the first time in a year to come back and not a single person I've met so far has made me feel anything less than welcomed with open arms. Like, I just cannot believe how lucky I am to be able to settle into this particular niche in the SPN fandom that is so loving and also relatively wank-free.

The concert sounds like such a blash, though being lost in a sea of Nick fans sounds... constricting. D: Not that they were particularly dangerous, I hope? Good to see those boys can still make a crowd fangirl like nutters, means they haven't lost their touch. :D
