WHEW AM I REALLY UPDATING OHMYJEEZ
OH GOSH SO HAY GUYS.
Why haven't I updated in forever? Mostly due to the fact life is super crazy. I've basically got twelve-hour days going where I just jump from one job to the next and, although I can find time to do silly shit like write the worst fic of all time and draw stupid things on Post-It notes, it's hard to sit down and be like, "HERE IS A PROPER LJ ENTRY." Also, I'm not feeling 100% these days. Might be getting sick? Honestly, I'd rather be getting sick and taking care of it now than it be July and I'm like, "A WEEK BEFORE THE CON AND I'M SICK? FFFFFFFFF"
SO LET ME RANT ABOUT BACKSTREET BOYS A LITTLE BECAUSE THAT TOTES HAPPENED:
Honestly, you can shit on BSB all you want, but the fact remains they love their fans. I have never heard an instance where they were anything but nice to their fanbase, and I love them for that. They have no problem replaying songs like 'Quit Playin' Games (With My Heart)' and 'I'll Never Break Your Heart' because they know the fans love them. At least three times, each BSB member would be like, "OH HAY BBS I JUST WANTED TO SAY YOU GUYS ARE SUPER AWESOME AND WE LOVE YOU AND WE ARE SO GLAD TO BE HERE" and of course the crowd would go crazy.
Of course, there were quite a few songs from This Is Us, since that is the album the tour is promoting, but the concert was a nice blend of songs from the whole catalog. HONESTLY THE WHOLE FUCKING CROWD SANG LIKE EVERY SONG. This amused the shit out of me. Like, I just could not get over the fact they are singing these songs and pretty much 95% of the audience is singing along the entire time. It wasn't a huge arena, but the crowd was pretty decent.
BRIAN LITTRELL HOW CAN YOU BE SO ADORABLE. He probably interacted with the crowd the most, always giving little waves if he wasn't singing. Like, little baby waves. He would sing in other mikes and I caught a video of him like hopping on-stage and another little moment where he was like joking around with his little stage dancer girl. SERIOUSLY LIKE WHATEVER HE DID I WAS LIKE OH BRIAN I JUST CAN'T HOW ARE YOU FOREVER ADORABLE.
I TOOK PICTURES AND VIDEO FROM SOMEONE ELSE'S CAMERA. When I get them, you can have no doubt that I will post them. The pictures really aren't that good, and neither is the video, but some of the video have adorable things on them. I would have brought my own camera, but I have a huge Nikon D80 and I was like, "Obviously this will be taken away because I cannot hide this monster." Little did I know they wouldn't check us whatsoever and of course most people had cameras. I was like, "FFFFFFFFFF" but I mean, hey, for me, the pictures just enhance the memory, they aren't needed.
ALSO COSTUME CHANGES LOL LOVED THEM. Like, they must have changed outfits at least five times during the concert. My favorite outfit? Brian's little newsboy cap with a white shirt, jeans, AND SUSPENDERS BRIAN HOW DID YOU KNOW I LOVED SUSPENDERS. Also, in that same outfit bracket, Howie had on this ridiculous sparkling silver scarf. LOL HOWIE.
Only pet peeve? WE WERE RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF NICK CARTER FANS UUUUUUGH. STOP SHOUTING SO LOUD. Like, okay, Nick had his game on last Saturday, but if that bitch said 'baby girl' to the audience one more time, UGH. Haha, but honestly, everything was amazing and even though Atlantic City, NJ is a driver's nightmare (JAYWALKERS I WANT TO INJURE YOU), it all went perfect. Jenn and Catilin were hilarious to be around and great to have in the car. We must have sung like every BSB song imaginable and debated exactly how drunk you would need to be to have sex with Nick Carter, and I admitted I didn't really want to have sex with Brian, I just wanted to hug him and watch a hilarious movie and perhaps throw popcorn at each other.
WHEW THAT WAS LONGER THAN I THOUGHT. Also, the 'Henge blew my mind. IT WAS A ROBOT HEAD AND THE SENTENCE WAS REPEATED ~*~SRSLY~*~ THREE TIMES IN THE MOVIE AND I LOST IT EVERY TIME. I CAN ASSURE YOU, FLIST, THERE IS NEVER A TIME I WILL NOT THINK IT IS FUNNY. I just oh jeez.

I'M KIND OF FREAKING OUT ABOUT IT BECAUSE SERIOUSLY. It is such an honor to not only find a good author, but to find a story that you absolutely adore and then be able to bring those scenes to life in pictures. To give them a visual. Like I really want to make the author happy and I can't wait to see what awesome people bring to the table. To be completely honest, I usually stray away from the bigger fics unless they've been recced to me, but the ones I have read and seen the art for just blow me away. Like, I keep thinking, "I HOPE I CAN DO THIS AS WELL AS THIS THING THAT I LOVE." So I'm just super excited to give it my all. [/gushing]

I mean, I know I don't have a huge amount of friends, and that's because I don't treat LJ like a freaking MySpace and need to friend everyone that friends me.
