Whew!
First things first! rosivan tagged me for a handwriting meme! I don't prefer my handwriting on my tablet, so I went ahead and did it on a lined pad. Here you are!
After that, I got a little bored and started to doodle. (After all, I'd like to get some practice on drawing characters before I have to draw them!)
Previews:
I sketched Rapunzel and decided I think I'm going to try her in a Mucha-like theme. I experimented by just filling in the outlines of her hair, and I like the result. If I am truly going to model it after Mucha, however, I would design it more like a stained glass window; the main picture in the middle with elements of the story around it.
Again, sketch of the boys. Dean's looking better and I like Sam's nose, but otherwise it's not anything of real note, more of a practice. It's difficult doing sketches from real people because you want them to have a resemblance to the person that is playing the character. For some people it's fucking easy. HAHA. I am not one of them. But I try and give it a good shot.
Easter was swingin' over at my house, awesome times. Went to the beach for the weekend; was without internet for Friday and Saturday so of course I'm taking a binge on it today.
Expect the seven-week-extravaganza to start probably a week from now. That'll give me time to start working on the fandom for the first week. (I'm thinking either Doctor Who or Sherlock Holmes.) In the meanwhile, I'll try and put up more sketches. I've been getting into the Beatles again (oh boy) so look for that! Also, my Buddhism is showing so you might also want to be on the lookout for my friend, Ganesha, whom I absolutely adore to draw. (I was thinking about getting a tattoo of him, but decided my one tattoo is enough. Instead I'll find henna and keep him on there for a good month or so - probably down my arm! :D AMAZING)
