Stand-Outs: You pretty much want to try and listen to all the songs. This is the beginning of the end, folks. Even Ringo left at the beginning when he was tired of it all. This album is unpolished and wonderful because it is; you're hearing the Beatles like they wanted everybody to hear them. George Martin wanted to smooth over the sounds, but the group wanted the rough edges to be shown, and it works. You'll want to take a listen to Back In The USSR and Dear Prudence, the song John wrote to get Prudence Farrow out of her room. While My Guitar Gently Weeps, with Eric Clapton on lead guitar; Happiness is A Warm Gun, the title of an American magazine ad; Martha My Dear, Paul's ode to his sheepdog. Helter Skelter and Piggies, which happen to be the songs Charles Manson thought the Beatles were speaking to him in.

Sexy Sadie is John's reaction to the Maharishi, and Savoy Truffle is George poking fun at Eric Clapton's affection for sweets. Blackbird and Yer Blues should not be missed. The one that you could possibly skip is Revolution 9, a song due mostly to John and Yoko experimenting.

Quick Note: Martha My Dear was my first favorite Beatles song. :D

*Note: Really, Abbey Road should be next, but we'll do this in chronological order, so Let It Be comes next.

Let It Be
1. Two Of Us
2. Dig A Pony
3. Across The Universe
4. I Me Mine
5. Dig It
6. Let It Be
7. Maggie Mae
8. I've Got A Feeling
9. One After The 909
10. The Long and Winding Road
11. For You Blue
12. Get Back

Stand-Outs: Again, this whole album is great. Despite the rift getting bigger and bigger (shown in the film that this album is the soundtrack to), the Beatles managed to make some wonderful music. Get Back is a classic, along with Let It Be and Across The Universe. I Me Mine and For You Blue are George Harrison songs that shouldn't be missed for the world (and are some of my personal favorites to listen to). One After The 909 was actually thought of back in the Please Please Me days, but finally comes out in this album. The only one I don't recommend? The Long and Winding Road. It's not the way Paul wanted it; listen to the song on the download below.

Let It Be...Naked
1. Get Back
2. Dig A Pony
3. For You Blue
4. The Long and Winding Road
5. Two Of Us
6. I've Got A Feeling
7. One After The 909
8. Don't Let Me Down
9. I Me Mine
10. Across The Universe
11. Let It Be

Stand-Outs: A lot like Let It Be without all the extra. Like the title says, it's the stripped down versions; here you can listen to The Long and Winding Road without all the instruments and the chorus. It's nice to hear the original versions of the songs, even if they took out Maggie Mae and Dig It. My suggestion? Take the versions you like and get rid of the ones you don't like. It's an album worth having, but to someone who doesn't care about the Beatles THAT much, you don't really need it.

Abbey Road
1. Come Together
2. Something
3. Maxwell's Silver Hammer
4. Oh! Darling
5. Octopus's Garden
6. I Want You (She's So Heavy)
7. Here Comes The Sun
8. Because
9. You Never Give Me Your Money
10. Sun King
11. Mean Mr. Mustard
12. Polythene Pam
13. She Came In Through The Bathroom Window
14. Golden Slumbers
15. Carry That Weight
16. The End
17. Her Majesty

Stand-Outs: THE WHOLE ALBUM. The last album they made together, Abbey Road is something special. Despite being on the verge of break-up, this is considered one of their greatest albums. Come Together is an amazing piece by John as well as the 12-word I Want You (She's So Heavy). Something and Here Comes The Sun show George finally shining through as a songwriter in his own right. Oh! Darling and Maxwell's Silver Hammer are Paul's babies. Octopus's Garden is Ringo's pride and joy. After the tenth song, the rest of the album is really several songs that blend together as the needle strays. This was the last of it, folks, and it was something great.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS WANT NEXT? I'll give you sum choices:

- More Beatles. The Anthology series, LOVE, and Live At The BBC. (I'd also probably upload broken links as well.

- Solo Acts from the boys. Would probably be mostly George and Paul. (I don't have a lot of John. D: But I do have some of Ringo, lol.)

- OTHER MUSIC. Bob Dylan, Carl Perkins, Chuck Berry? Or The Black Keys, Arcade Fire, British Sea Power? Or soundtracks?

PLZ LET ME KNOOOOOOOOOOOOW.

beatles, music is my life, i can't believe i spent so much damn tim, download
