IN SUMMARY:

Life is fantastic.

I really honestly believe now that Buddhism is slowly but surely changing my life. The less I try and control things and accept them for what they are and what they will be and that everything is going to change, the more good seems to happen. I'm fasting and I'm learning how to control my hunger. (I really want to go retreat somewhere for two weeks and go on a complete water fast and purify my body.) I'm meditating and I'm so much more calm and at ease.

Now more than ever I'm appricating life and actually living it instead of being angry or embarassed or scared or depressed. Colors seem to pop out everywhere. (there were these beautiful blue-violet storm clouds yesterday.) Little instances are more lovely and significant. I think it's all starting to come together. I think I finally get it. And that feeling is just...so peaceful and warm and understanding.

I'm not saying it's for everyone, but I'm saying it's opened my eyes. I might not be awake yet, but I'm peeking through the darkness.

Ya dig?

(p.s. - i'm convinced hugh jackman is always most badass when playing wolverine.)
