So I haven't updated in 50 years. not that anyone is complaining.
School is school. I have a lot harder more demanding classes this year, but I'm getting to it. I've actually been doing pretty well. It's stressful though that's for sure.
A lot of my time is spent traveling or at my rotation, so that makes it difficult to get things done when I want to. My first rotation has been at Staunton River. I'm there for about 2 more weeks. It's been a great experience, I must say. It's weird to go back there. I know I haven't been out long, but there's such a big difference between there and where I am now. College does that I guess..
The weekends have consisted of football games on friday nights, and spending lots of time with Chris when he could come and visit. I've toned it down a lot since last year. There's no way I could continue that behavior another year and survive. Yes, I do go out with my girls on saturdays and party a little. However that is no where near what we all did last year. I'm proud of myself for growing up and realizing I have to buckle down. I can't do that and expect to be able to pass at all.
Unfortunately not all of my friends have realized this yet. The whole dynamic is different this year. I mean for the most part it's the same, but you can tell that something changed in a few people. Maybe we all aren't in the same place and mindset anymore. who knows. all I know is that one certain person makes me want to punch her atleast once a day. such a drama queen.
I had a birthday this past weekend. It was fun, but I really wish I would have stayed home all weekend. I will never celebrate my birthday at LC again. way too much drama. I had the football game at Liberty friday and then came back. Chris came up and brought me flowers and his present along with his mom's. I absolutely loved spending the day with him. We went and ate. Layed around being lazy. It was great. Then it came time for me to get ready for dinner with the girls, so he was leaving. this wasn't a normal goodbye though. This was the last time I'd get to see him before he left for Georgia sunday morning at 7. It was the hardest goodbye in the world. That boy has the ability to make all the drama, all the stress, everything melt away as soon as he puts his arms around me. What am I supposed to do without that for 6-8 weeks??? ugh. die probably.
Mom made a nice lunch for the whole family sunday. It was so good to be home. I teared up almost the whole time, because everyone was talking about chris. I finally broke down on mom. She understands, she was there, only she had to deal with that on top of caring for a child. I can't imagine.
So I'm here. stuck with homework, ridiculous girl drama, and a drive 3 days a week that makes me wanna cry with no christopher to make it all okay. Im counting down the dayssss
Home in less than 2 weeks for fall break. I'm refusing to work, so let me know if you wanna hang out!
Chris also comes home that weekend. I just wanna hug...
