kidneys suck
So what I thought was a gas bubble ended up being a kidney infection. ew. I finally went to the doctor monday afternoon and they said I had one, I had to get a huge shot of antibiotic and then she gave me two prescriptions. Then we had to go to church for bible school. I took the medecine for pain, and I was gone. It was like I was drunk. embarassing. Chris came and helped and then drove me home. He's such a good boyfriend. He wouldn't let me carry any of my stuff, and put me on the couch and wouldn't let me get up and do anything. He got me some cranberry juice and took care of me until I basically passed out. I had to go back to the doctor yesterday so they could make sure the antibiotic was working. She said it was looking much better. I have to go back on Thursday.
Luckily I have the day off today. Monday and Tuesday I had to open which sucked. I have to work 12-6 but I think I can do it. It's not too bad. I didn't go to bible school last night. I'll go tonight and then hopefully I'll feel well enough to go to B-dubs for a little while afterwards. we'll see.
Chris got the job at the railroad. I'm so proud of him. It just sucks because he'll be in Georgia for 2 months for training while I'm at school. It's bad enough he'll be here and I'll be at school, but now he'll be like 3 states away. oh well this is good for him. I'm gonna miss him a lot though.
Mikey's doing marching band. I think she likes it. I'm not sure.
Now that the swelling's gone down, my new piercing is really cute. I like it.
my hip is still sore from that huge shot. I can't sleep on that side. Too bad that's the side I sleep on. oh well it's also the same side that the infected kidney is on.
back to school in 10 days. can't believe I'm already in my second year of college. weird.
I woke up at 5:30 this morning. I went to bed at 10:30 I think my body isn't used to being able to sleep in. I'll take some meds and take a nap later I suppose.
I'm worn out.
