this has been such a wonderful and productive summer, challenges included, I can hardly believe it. I'm starting to get a bit more freelancing work online, and lying here in my pretty and cave-like basement surrounded by cedar beams.. I could see just staying here, trying to really make something out of this work online, becoming a little ghostwriter in a ghostlife, doing travel writing for random blogs, and editing people's pathetic grammar and fixing their theses. I could see it working out, and living here in Olympia. I could see getting by.
but I don't want to! I want to do so much stuff! I want to write my own thesis. And though I plan to keep up with the freelancing when I get back to London, I don't think it will be my bread and butter, because I have my own damn book to write.
still, its been a wonderful visit, and its still wonderful as it continues. its been so precious to come back down to earth and back to my real-life routine. Not that my eurolife is not real, but it is a bit unreal at times. So I've been handwashing my clothes, and cooking, and walking around in some nature, and taking long bus rides across high ways and rural areas. Cause soon I won't be back for a year, and I am making the most I can of it all.
