Happy 12/12/12! Jeni Montgomery had her third child this morning. She was ten days overdue and finally went in last night for an induction. I'm sure hospitals were busier that usual with pregnant women wanted to have their induction or planned c-sections today. There were probably quite a few wedding as well. It's still not as awesome as 11/11/11 was, but it is the last date of the same number for a long time.
Frank is still wearing the cone of shame at night so he doesn't lick his leg. He had a pea-sized lump removed from his back leg and Sebastian had a fatty lump removed from his armpit. The stitches opened up on both of their wounds in a way Frank's never have in the past. I had to take Frank back in two days after the surgery to get his stitches redone. They also put staples in for good measure, but they staples were about as useless as the stitches and glue. By the time I took them in for their recheck, only one of the original six or seven staples was still in and it wasn't even holding the two parts of the wound together. Even the vet tech agreed that the wounds did not heal according to plan. I have to take the dogs back in for another recheck at the end of the week.
Justin and I are considering taking another trip to Seattle before the wedding. The original plan was to go there for our honeymoon, but that seems too far away. If we can manage to take a trip in a few months instead, it will give us more time to plan our move.
And I'm not sure what is going on with me, but I'm just not feeling myself. Slightly fatigued, irritable, almost like I'm on my period without the bleeding. And it's only Wednesday. Ugh. Plus, I have FOUR 75 minute massage tomorrow instead of the usual two. Fuck me.
