You fail, justice system

Back in Feb. Jason got a wrongful traffic ticket. Basically the cop said he ran a red light and almost got T-boned. Not only is Jason innocent, but nobody ran that light. So in other words, the cop pulled this out his ass. It's all BS. I'm thoroughly convinced. Not only that, but he got away with it! I went with Jason this morning to back him up. But the judge didn't listen at all. He took the cop's word over ours, which I guess makes sense. But he didn't even consider the probability that the officer made a mistake (to put things lightly). That's not all. He doubled Jason's fine. That's so harsh! He went from a $50 fine to a $162 fine, and he didn't even do a thing. I wish I could say that if you're a safe driver and you kept your head down that you won't get into trouble. This is not the case. Even if you do drive carefully and obey the traffic laws, you still might get a ticket. I know things like this happen, but you figure a judge would give a guy a break. I'd just be careful driving around Fairfax County. They go by their own set of rules.
