I had a foot of hair removed, and I'm actually ok with it. I didn't cry or anything. It's also dark red. It was also all free ( Read more... )

Wow! I remember when I cut my hair short. It was about as long as yours and also bright red. For a few days, I felt like I'd lost part of my identity. Maybe when you've had long hair for a while and everyone admires it, you start to feel that way. After a few days though, I started to dig how free and bouncy it felt and I started cutting it even shorter. For some reason, it seemed kind of liberating.

P.S. Give them a couple of weeks. I promise they'll work! If you bought Shampure, do not use it every time you wash your hair because it has protein in it that can make your hair brittle if over-used. Use it every other time, and alternate with Infusium or some other kind of less expensive product made for dry/damaged hair. If you bought the Deep Penetrating Hair Revitalizer (which I HIGHLY recommend), use it once a week, and if you can stand it, leave it on overnight the first time you use it.

That was a lot longer than I anticipated. LOL
