The Importance of Muscular Thighs
I have news: I started horseback riding lessons three weeks ago.
Highlights so far:
-- the inner sides of my thighs are covered in lovely multicolored bruises;
-- I have sore muscles in places I didn't even know had muscles;
-- my coach makes fun of me (and looks like he's having fun watching me struggling, too!);
-- I got a somewhat cranky horse that
(a) has already tried to throw me off by kicking his hind legs;
(b) expresses his affection by licking me all over, usually after eating a juicy apple, which leaves me sticky and smelly;
(c) ate a button off my jacket and looked very surprised upon realizing it didn't taste any good.
Can you tell that I've been having the time of my life these past three weeks? :D
