Random geekiness (silliness, too!)
So I had nothing better to do (obviously) and, being in the mood for things related to The Hobbit, decided to look up "Lobelia" on Wikipedia. And there, I found this:
"English names include Lobelia, Asthma Weed, Indian Tobacco, Pukeweed, and Vomitwort."
I have to say I've always been really amused by the fact that the formidable Lobelia S.-B. got her name from this tiny, sweet blue flower...but reading this just made me laugh out loud. Just imagine the wicked delight of the naughtier among the hobbit kids, giggling and saying "There goes old Mrs Pukeweed..."
