Alex never realized how much he missed the little things in life until he set foot back in Meredith's house. Alex had been gone for three weeks at a medical conference in Chicago and was grateful to be back in Seattle. The smells, the sounds, the memories all came flooding back to him. He sprawled out on the couch and closed his eyes. He was home.
