Don't try to rank the schools yet. Wait until you have decisions. That way, you can look at the ones that rejected you, and put them at the BOTTOM of your list! I mean, I know that CMU is my "first choice" but if they don't take me (which they might not) then I can easily convince myself that I really preferred Oberlin or Lawrence or UMich all along! See how easy life is when you're a Gemini and your powers of persuasion are strong enough to even work on your own self?!?!?!
You'll be just fine, Merrimaiden, I PROMISE. And you'll be happy! The real world is scary, yes, but it's not unbearable, and you won't be there for another at least eight years! College is still academia, and you know you'll shine there. So in the words of that spiritual man that that singer man quoted in that famous song, "Don't worry; be happy."
