Happy Things #7
JENSEN BEING THE AWESOMEST AWESOME THING EVER TO AWESOME!!!!!!! *flails and squees* He sent me an autographed photo of his lovely self... Of course, it's waiting for me at home and I haven't actually seen it yet, but... Hee!!! *squees* The only way he could have gotten my address is if he and Jared got the hats I sent them from EyeCon, so YAY!!!! That means they did!!! :D This makes me very happy. *flails a lot*
Other happy things:
Can you tell that we've been eating massive amounts of food around here? 'Cause we have... And I just ate lunch, so food is particularly on my mind at the moment... also, sitting right directly above the kitchen in an old house with wood floors, I can smell everything that's being cooked downstairs right now as if I were standing next to the stove. YUM, Y'ALL, YUM!
Tomorrow, we're going to VA. I have a computer and internet there, but since I haven't been on much here, I don't expect to be online much there either. I'm looking forward to seeing my niece and my sister and my grandmother, great-grandmother and great-aunt. Should be a lot of fun and there are more Christmas presents to give and receive. The holidays are not over yet in this family! :D

And I hope everyone else's New Year celebrations went well and no one is too hungover. Let me know how y'all are doing, okay? *hugs everyone*
Other happy things:
- a sandwich made of whole wheat organic bread, organic white cheddar cheese, organic mixed baby greens lettuce from my garden, which is still not spoiled despite being picked nearly three weeks ago (just one of the many reasons I love growing my own lettuce), and mesquite and stout ale mustard (seriously, it's delicious... and the brand name is "Dean and Deluca Mustard")
- cake... we are drowning in it. also, cookies, candy and chocolate things... We have so much, it's kinda insane. Sweets with breakfast, lunch and dinner for more than a week now and we still have enough to last the six of us at least that long again. YAY for the holidays!!!
- cat head biscuits (no cats were harmed in the making of these biscuits... they are called that because people in Appalachia are a little loopy and they are approximately the size of a cat's head after baking)
- baby garden peas... I like 'em.
- pot roast. Susan's dh makes awesome pot roast.
- the smell of the ham in the oven... mind you, I don't eat ham, but I find the smell of it pretty pleasing...
