"The fun has arrived!"

So today was truly an adventure!  Let's recap...one of my favorite things to do.  (lol...for some odd reason, as I type this, I'm reading it to myself in a complete British accent.  Jolly good show!)

So, Jacquie and I FINALLY hung out today...first time since I got down here 2 months ago.  We got all pretty and went to Epcot for a bit, wandering about Mouse Gear while eating premium bars.  We met Kelley and Crystal at the Coral Reef Restaurant, where Crystal was celebrating her 21st birthday!  We had a great lunch and I tried a Pina Colava, which is a pina colada with raspberry puree in it.  Tasty stuff.  Later, Crystal and I showed the ladies the heart of Walt Disney World, the center of property, which is located in Epcot.

We wandered to World Showcase and ran into Aladdin and Jasmine in Morocco.  We were next in line to see them when it started raining.  Aladdin grabbed an umbrella and told us to follow him.  Watching Aladdin and Jasmine huddled under an umbrella, running in the rain was the cutest thing in the world!  After a few pictures, we picked up the monorail to MK.

Upon hitting MK, we had to bid farewell to Crystal.  Jacquie, Kelley and I were on Main Street when DDCT (aka day parade aka 3 o'clock parade...lol) was about to go by, but it was rained out.  Instead, they presented the Rainy Day Character Calvacade, which we had never seen!  It was a special banner and all of the characters came out.  Most were riding in cars.  The Hundred Acre Wood gang all smooshed into one car with Tigger walking around it.  The princesses had a car to themselves, as did the Fab Five.  The double decker bus was out with a bunch of other characters.  The regular calvacade walked about and the Tweedles randomly held the end rope...all to the tune of "Singin' in the Rain"!

The three of us made our way to Adventureland to find Hook and Smee, but they weren't back from parade yet.  Then an attendant told us that Jack Sparrow was wandering about in POTC because his tutorial was rained out.  We ran to the ride and quickly found Jack, sitting up top and watching traffic.  (You had to be looking to see him...he blended it pretty well.)  We took pictures of him and rode the ride.  After going on the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, we found Hook and Smee.  While Hook admired my necklace, he told me that I stink...so bad in fact that he threw up over the rail and shooed me away.

We made our way to the Haunted Mansion and shared trivia tips along the way.  As we were exiting, we met Ian, a cast member from the mansion.  He told us the story of Master Gracey.  I found out that Emily was the bride who locked herself in the attic.  Constance is the bride currently in the attic, but they do not speak of her.  So I don't know if I'll be Emily or Constance.  We'll see.

I spent the night in Adventureland with Jane, Tarzan, and Terk.  I was a little hesitant, but ended up having the time of my life.  Jane and Tarzan were incredible and Terk was such a bundle of energy.  She kept wandering up to video cameras and staring at them, trying to figure out what they were.  A man showed Terk a banana and Terk chased the man around the pavilion trying to get it.  She also went diving through the candy bin and tried to hand candy to little children, along with grooming them by picking bugs out of their hair.  All I'm going to say is I'm not looking forward to the back pain that will come tomorrow.  lol  But I had the time of my life.

Tomorrow is my first day of class.  I read the syllabus and it's pretty standard...a welcome to the class-type of class.  But I'm still excited.  I'm going to the store tomorrow to buy a nice notebook for it.

Anyway, I'm exhausted.  It is way past my bedtime.

G'night, Never Land!
