I don't think that I will ever lose the love of performance and the thrill of being in front of people. :)
I have an extra early morning tomorrow, but I want to log away a couple of good memories from the past two days.
-- Little kids who come up and hug you like they'll never let go.
-- A little girl dressed as Ariel who literally squealed when she saw me and ran up and gave me such a tight hug. I pointed to her Ariel and she said, "She's a princess, just like you!"
-- A mother and two sons who sang to me.
-- A woman who taught me sign language.
-- Waltzing with older men.
-- A tiny little girl who was a little nervous about seeing me, so I played peek-a-boo with her. Then I tickled her nose and pointed to mine. She touched it and I laughed. She touched it again and I laughed harder. This girl must have spent at least 30 seconds playing with my nose.
-- Playing ring-around-the rosy with Robin Hood and some little kids.
-- One lady was in a motorized wheelchair and came up with her daughter, who absolutely adored me. After I had left stage, the lady told someone that they had just been in a life-threatening situation and were slowly starting to recover and meeting me and Gabby was one of the first things they had done and how much it had meant to them.
-- Taking a picture with a man and the lady taking the picture saying that they'd have to hang that picture in the living room.
-- A man telling me that he hoped his wife wouldn't get jealous.
-- Taking a picture while being escorted by two guys in their twenties.
-- Being told that I was a flirt.
My training group and some of our best friends!
