I can't believe it's been two weeks since I last wrote here. I meant to do it so many times and I could just never get away to anywhere quiet. Huh.
Well, the past two weeks have been nuts, to say the least. I guess let's try to do a recap, though it's probably going to be pretty sketchy.
I ended up visiting Liberty Tree that one morning and had the time of my life. I came home to help Josh and his sister Liz finish packing his room. We attempted to go see "The Princess and the Frog," but the showtimes at the theatre weren't the same as they were online. Instead, we came back home. Josh ran Liz to her apartment and he and I talked for a bit before he ran off again. He has made me promise that I will wear my purple dress twice before he comes back. I also did the one thing I said I wasn't going to do when I cried in front of Josh. It was a very nice hug and in the middle of it, I just lost it. Josh laughed and said he should have worn a towel. lol...that's my boy. He headed off to a friend's house and Cole came over to finish watching our movie. Josh ended up coming home around midnight to get a few hours of sleep before hitting the road. We had another really nice "so long" and he hit the road around 3AM.
Since leaving last Wednesday, I've heard from him twice...once to say they made it to Kansas, and an invite from him on Skype. I'm not overly surprised because he has a lot on his plate right now and reminded me a number of times that he's not the best at keeping in contact with people. We'll talk again when it's time. I just hope he's well...I miss him.
Erin, our new roommate, moved in later that week. She's a friend of Margaret's from Louisiana. Margaret and Erin now share a room and Jenna moved into Josh's old room. It's been really nice so far. After Josh moved out, I kept myself as busy as possible for the next few days and avoided the house for a while, just to give myself time to adjust.
I found some wonderful distractions during that time. I had two wonderful work schedules -- lots of time with Dale and June, a day with Winnie, lots of locations, and a filming for the Spanish Disney Channel. Rob finally came back from New York, though he's been hard to get in touch with lately since he's getting trained in MISICI. We went to Grand Fla for breakfast to see Alice. But, I think the best distraction was Peter. :)
Peter is a friend of mine who used to work here. He left a few months ago to go on tour with Feld Entertainment's Disney LIVE: Mickey's Magic Show. He's currently touring South America, with rumors of a North America tour after. He does a great job keeping us up to date with pictures and stories. Anyway, Peter came down and visited Cole and me for five days. It was so much fun having him around. The three of us had a great time together. We went out to dinner, saw "Princess and the Frog," and hit the parks. It was wonderful!
Oh, yes. I did get my hair cut. Nothing major...like an inch off and I had them put layers back in. It was subtle, but I like it. Prince Caspian claimed that we had the same hairstyle, which made Cole and Peter very happy. I also bought my first legit perfume. It's only a roll-on, but it's nice because now I can decide if I like the fragrance.
So, speaking of Caspian, he had his last day about a week ago. I managed to see him three days on his last week. (And yes, there will be pictures when I have time to add them.) My favorite moment of the week was the very last set of his last day. Every day, Caspian's last set was in front of the attraction. That night, Caspian walked me from his little Narnia closet to the front, arm in arm. I was blushing so badly, even more so when a woman in line from the attraction said, "That is the luckiest girl in the world!" When we got to the front of the attraction, the prince and I shared a little waltz. (I'll see if I can post the video.)
Well, I must go. After planning to be up two hours ago, I now have 15 minutes to get ready for work. At least it's a short shift. This is a really short week. These past two weeks, I worked over 95 hours. This week, I only have 22, but that's fine with me. A nice week to let my back relax, to spend some special days with Cole, and to not get capped. :)
Adios!
