Merry Christmas everybody!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday. I'm sorry for my lack of updates lately. As I've said before, when I'm in a depressed mood, I don't tend to write that much because I feel like all I'm doing is complaining. But I am feeling 150% better, so let's update away!!
Cole and I have been spending a lot of time together lately, which has been wonderful. He and I found this connection and I love hanging out with him. He has this natural, almost corny, natural chivalry to him. It's not often I meet a guy who not only is willing to take fun pictures with me, but will pose with me like royalty and treat me to a serenade and waltz every now and then. It's enough to make a girl go weak at the knees.
I've started visiting Prince Caspian a little more frequently. I enjoy our visits together. Here's a photo memory from last time:
In other news, work is still going strong. It's nice to see daylight again. The Christmas parade is now out twice a day, which is fun. It's a lot of fun to see it!
I think my best news of the day is this link that I found, thanks to my friend Amber. In my last post, I wrote about Matty, the little Make a Wish boy who wanted to be a gingerbread man in the parade. Here is a link from Amber that has all sorts of pictures and stories about Matty's trip. (The same lady has more posts, if you click to see the thread up top.)

As for the age old question: "What am I doing for Christmas?"
Well, I went to work this morning and created lots of magic. We saw the Disney Parks Xmas parade on TV during our lunch and had some special entertainment, along with a potluck buffet. Tonight, I am relaxing for a bit, then I'm going to make Christmas dinner for myself, Margaret, Cat, Cole, and Andrew...with leftovers for Jenna and Josh, who can't be here tonight. The modest menu consists of shake-n-bake chicken, mashed potato casserole, mixed veggies, cinnamon applesauce, crescent rolls, and French silk pie. I can't wait!
I still need to finish opening my presents. This is the Christmas of gingerbread and chipmunks. I was surprised the other day to receive a present from Amy, my geology professor from college and a dear friend of mine. She always throws a huge cookie extravaganza party at her place and sent me cookies as a "wish you were here" gift. How sweet of her!!
Well, my company is due in the next two hours, so I supposed I ought to get cooking. :) Have a wonderful holiday and a Merry Christmas!
