Hysterical story from Stars today that the good ol' "folks at home" will appreciate.
There always a lot of Ohioans at Walt Disney World for whatever reason, but there have been quite a few more recently. They're relatively easy to spot and are always a lot of fun, especially when a character joins them in a friendly "O-H-I-O!"
Anyway, today takes the cake. :)
June and Quincy were saying hi to their friends at Stars when the next family came up: two little boys. And not only was the older one wearing an Indians t-shirt, it was a #13 Indians t-shirt...OMAR VIZQUEL, baby!! (Anyone who knows me and my Tribe knows that Omar was one of my main guys. Amazing shortstop and 13-time Golden Glove. Can't beat that...too bad we lost him.) Anyway, June couldn't resist writing "Go Tribe!" in the boy's autograph book and saying that she loved the Tribe. The family thought it was adorable and the little boy was in love. The set goes by and June and Quincy are just about to leave set when the same little boy comes back through the line with his autograph book to show the Einsteins that he wrote "I love June!" and "I love Quincy!" in his book.
Two sets later, June and Quincy are on their way out, passing by the Playhouse theatre. A young fan runs up to wave hello to June...and would you believe that it was the same boy! June was beaming from ear-to-ear and couldn't resist giving him a huge hug.
Motto of the story: Cleveland rocks. Pure and simple.
