Welcome to Thanksgiving 2008!!
The WDWCP served Thanksgiving dinner to everyone in the CP tonight at Patterson. They stamped our hands and they had four serving lines. We got turkey, gravy, stuffing, cranberry, roll and butter, and pound cake for dessert, with pop. (Yes, Rob, P-O-P. POP!) I went to JT's apartment with him, Rob, Crystal, Rachel, and some of their friends. It was a really nice dinner. We said what we were thankful for, established the "kids' table", and told stories of typical hoidays with our families.
And now I'm back at my place, watching Tony and Maria pretend to get married on Turner Classic Movies. I've never seen "West Side Story" all the way through and I'm quite excited about it. It's such a classic. "One Hand/One Heart."
I get to spend my actual Thanksgiving hanging out at Monsters, Inc. with Mike Wazowski. I'm planning to get productive at some point tonight and make mashed potatoes to bring in tomorrow. I think we're doing potluck, but I'm not too sure.
My family will be in town a week from Friday. I'm so excited to see them. I just need to finish finangling my schedule.
