dearly beloved, we gather here to say our goodbyes...

So not much has happened in the past week.  I spoke with the roommie last night and we caught up; she had been on a cruise so for a week, I didn't really talk to people because no one was around.  The parents were out of town to a secret location (well, I know but I'm not telling) and thus, it ( Read more... )

God likes it when people question him; He wants us to have opinions and them to be different from his. That means that we're thinking for ourselves and not following the herd like sheep.

That's my thoughts on The Man, at least.

Kansas is one of the flatest states in the nation - Nebraska holds that title. I have only been to western Kansas (there is a major difference in the two), but it is nice. There is A LOT of farmland outside of the suburbs of Kansas City. These farms go on forever.

Kansas is also part of the Bible Belt; the people can be extremely religous and rigid in their ways. They are very conservative about everything; they drive slowly and talk slowly. However, they can be extremely polite and generous to a certain degree.

It's not my favorite place that I've lived, but I will not end up here when the working world starts; I will not apply to jobs out here. However, it does for the time being and it could be a lot worse.

Do you like where you are? Did you like living in Philly? I didn't visit it much when I lived on the east coast.

That sounds interesting. Depending on my financial and job situation in August, I may help Phil and Meredith when they move out to Colorado. Perhaps if you are on the way, we could "pop-in". I dunno. That would be up to Phil.

Philly is interesting. I have mixed feelings about it. Where I live now it'd actually really nice, like the nicest part I've seen of Philly, but I want to move closer. The company I interned and hope to get hired with is across the street from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, so I would like to live near there for a while. I probably would like Philly more if I had more or friends to hang out with. There are fun things to do. University City, where Penn is, is a pretty happening place....
