dearly beloved, we gather here to say our goodbyes...

So not much has happened in the past week.  I spoke with the roommie last night and we caught up; she had been on a cruise so for a week, I didn't really talk to people because no one was around.  The parents were out of town to a secret location (well, I know but I'm not telling) and thus, it was just my bud and I.  Both of us worked on Friday, Sunday, and Monday, so no Memorial Day celebration for us; I don't think that I had one last year either because I worked.  That day doesn't seem to hold much for me anymore.  Hmm.

I've seen two movies that past couple of days...well, three, but one was a rented movie.  X-Men: The Last Stand, Mission: Impossible: III, and Memoirs of a Geisha.  The first one was pretty average - it had nothing compared on the first two, though.  I was extremely upset with it, to be honest.  I was expecting a good movie because the previous two had been pretty good, and instead, I watched a movie where the action was fun, but there was no story, the characters were horrible, and it was overall disappointing.  Oh X-Men...you were one of the few good comicbook-adaptions.  M:I:III was actually good; we saw it today.  I was very pleased with it.  The first one was too confusing, so I was not excited when I saw the second one, but it actually ended up being decent.  This one, though, was probably the best of them all.  There was an actual story line and while it was a little long for my taste (and not enough Jonathan Rhyes Meyers [sorry if I spelled his name wrong]), it overall was good and a definite thumbs-up.  (And I dispise Tom Cruise, so please note this.)  The last movie was the one that I rented, and it was pretty disappointing.  It jumped around a lot and just made me sad; the book was much better.

Trip this upcoming week - the only vacation of the summer.  However, it will be a good one because family and friends will be with us and thus, overall goodness.

Work has been pretty good; I've been up front on the cashwrap still, which is exciting because I get music, to use computers, and talk to people and fellow employees.  How can that not be bad?  A lot of newbies have been hired, which will hopefully be good for me in that I will be out in the front more (with customers) while they'll be more in the back, learning the ropes of the store.  Let us hope.

We'll raise our glass - you bet your ass to -

Hmm...otherwise, nothing much has happened.  I've been missing all of my friends lately, however, I'm starting to get excited for school this upcoming year (a nerd, I know).  I'm excited for the classes and applying to schools and all; I really hope that everything works out.  I was a nerd even in high school; applying to schools was a pain, but it was fun at the same time.

All right, well, I guess that should be it.  Hope all is well in your neck of the woods (where ever that may be) and I'll write again after my trip, most likely.  Enjoy.

Oh, Dustin, you need to reply to the comment that I wrote to your question.  I've been waiting and my theory is this: my theory is an excellent one and you do not know how to top it.  I mean, come on, the creation of the universe?  Mine was original and, most likely, right.  ;)

La vie boheme.

bisous.
