Blue skies and sunny days...
The weather has been PERFECT these past few days. I love it! ^__^ I haven't done much this week. I've been catching up on sleep and getting more than 8 hours a night. ^O^ And watching TV... Hehe. I'm gonna be doing hardcore studying in the next couple of weeks though. Finals are coming. Eeek!
I helped out with the International Festival the other night done by our UNICEF chapter. I know the President of that club so I was helping her out. I got to dress up and be a greeter at the door. People from five embassies were there so that was cool. And John, Orlando, Michelle and Angela were the models in the fashion show! It'd have been nice if more people attended the event. GW UNICEF did a great job!
Yesterday, I was planning to study but it was toooo pretty out. After giving a dorm tour to some incoming freshmen, I went out to lunch with Ji. We ended up walking around the city and all around Dupont too. We had lunch outside at CPK and went to this cute store called "Chocolate Moose." It wasn't solely a candy store which was sad. Haha. It was nice to just relax in the sun and talk.
Went to dinner at Nooshi with a few peeps. I had heard about this place and had passed by it a lot but had never been. It has a bunch of Asian food and I ended up ordering kalbi with kimchi. So gooood! ^__^ I was a bit hesitant at first to order Korean food from this Asian place that has pad thai, mee goreng, laksa, nasi goreng, general tao's, sushi and udon. But it was really good. After dinner, I went to John's apartment for his 21st birthday party. It was pretty chilled. We had drinks and played Rock Band. It was great! The drums were so hard, the guitar was mediocre, and the bass was pretty easy. I wish I know more of the rock songs that are on it. Otherwise, I'd have been singing!
I went to the gym this morning which was great! I was in sort of a zone back in the beginning of the semester and then I got lazy. I hope I can get in a zone again for the remainder of the year. After graduation, no more free gym! Boooo. And I got in a few decent hours of productive studying done in the afternoon. I was surprised that I was focused even though the weather was perfect outside and the library was chilly. Afterwards, Victor, Anna and Matt picked me up and we drove to Pentagon City for dinner at CPK (yes, again in 2 days!). We also went to Macy's for a bit to get sunglasses for Victor. I think sunglasses and hats on guys are hot!!! (i.e. Matrix and soldiers) Hahaaa...
