Little Sea.
Astor Theatre. Perth.
December 12th 2015

With You, Without You Tour.

Opening Act(s)

Tyde Levi (DJ)

Tyde hyped the crowd up really well, his mixes were mostly things new, that I knew. I enjoyed him, and for a 15 year old Perth boy I can see good things for his future.

Little Sea.

Little Sea were not a band I knew much about, but I had seen that they were gaining a good following. I was already slightly keen because I am all for supporting Aussie talent and tickets were amazingly affordable. I also agreed to go to the show because my concert buddy has a mad crush on guitarist Oliver Kirby.
The crowd were great, not a huge sweaty mass of people, which I was grateful for, and we were all courteous and helpful to each other. It was nice to be around people who were there for the music.

Leighton, on the drums, was really good. I wont lie, I could hardly see him but he makes a good sound and I would love to be able to see him more in future shows.
Andy, who is the lead singer and one of the guitarists, has a beautiful voice and a good stage presence.
Dylan, on Bass and Piano, was right in front of me for most of the show. The man has some good skills and it was a pleasure to watch him play. Not to mention his boots for the show had me glued to him.
Oliver, Guitarist, Was on the far side of the stage away from me, and didn't move down to my end very much, but the man bounced about and looked like he was having a great time.

The show was good, the songs were great. I went home and looked for their EP on iTunes immediately. I find myself humming 'Friends' quite regularly because its catchy and fun. They also did a cover of Adele's Hello, which showcased Andy's voice beautifully.

These guys all have great talent and I cant wait to see them play again in the future and I can say that it was a show I would tell everyone to see.

I would give these guys a solid 4 out of 5.
