sooo tired!
the day went well. it was so funny, in the span of about one hour i went from having a light day consisting of 6 patients to an empty day of only 2. i found that out after i had finished my first (of the now two) patients. the next was scheduled after lunch--at 2:30. *sigh* it ended up being ok, tho. i was able to take my time with my first patient, we did an FMX, and was able to do some leisurely odds and ends til lunch. i got to play with some plaster stone, working on impressions. i discovered that there is such a thing as wet/dry sandpaper. i had no idea that such a thing existed! what a useful little tool, tho. i spent a good fifteen minutes working on 4 arch models, that looked crappy, and then the doctor showed me i could do the whole thing under water--and presto! beautifully smooth stone models in under 5 minutes! whoa.
i did get a girl added into my schedule in the afternoon, tho. but she was easy cuz all she needed was sealants. three of them. it was a bit annoying cuz one of them (#15) failed twice, so i ended up sealing the tooth three times before it finally stuck. oh well. c'est la vi.
boy, am i tired. the only thing that is really lookin up is seeing bob tomorrow. i can't wait! i'm still not sure when that's gonna happen, even tho i'm outta work at 1, but i suppose it'll all work out somehow.
