"why don't you get a job" can't be my brother's ringtone for me anymore.
I am usually the least busy girl ever so this week's been good for me. I started my new job at the Census. The past two days I've had job training with 16 other future door knockers and our goofy instructor. Most of the people there are older, and majority are fascinating as well. Something about spending eight hours straight with a group makes you instantly close, even if it's only for four days out of a lifetime.
I met a really nice girl named Hannah yesterday and we clicked right away. Today I didn't have money for lunch so after one day of being acquainted I figured she could spot me the $8 for my meal. Turns out she forgot her wallet today and was hoping for the same of me. We ended up trying to sneak food out of a cafe and it reminded me of old Fresh City days. We goof around on our iWhatevers and laugh at everything. It makes me miss classes with friends. I don't know how to make new friends anymore so I'm glad I still can!? Most of mine live far away. Some days I really think I should change that. Hm. So training is good. I think the job will be, too. Maybe I'm happier when I work? That could be it. My parents seem very proud of me. It's nice.
So two days ago I bought a new car. Spontaneous Buy 2010! I'm glad I saved up some money and didn't blow it all on gambling and clothes. Now I'll have a Black 1998 Toyota Camry with 40,000 miles to show for it too. Tomorrow I am driving it to Brand New in Hampton Beach. I miss the water and sand between my toes. I am kind of excited for the actual show. I am really excited for New Found Glory on May 6th and the weekend after. I'm a dork, what can I say.
