Hi!
I'm back from California! Highlights included (in no particular order):
1. Getting to watch The Office on the plane!
2. A sped dressed like Paris Hilton (turquoise cocktail dress, diamond necklace, silver high heels)
3. Fireworks at Disneyland
4. The LA tour guide talking about Battlestar Galactica, beets, and (with a little coercion) bears
5. Waiting in the line for the Roger Rabbit ride for a half hour just to get my picture taken next to a drum of Dip, then leaving and going backwards through line and completely pissing everyone off
6. Being on vacation
7. California Screamin', the best rollercoaster of all time
8. Fantasmic
9. Godzilla has a star on the Walk of Fame.
10. Finding legit Nintendo merchandise at that weird Mexican shopping place we went to (I totally should've bought the shirt that said "Nientiendo")
11. Being in California
Lowlights included:
1. One of our Shriners dying. Seriously.
2. Stupidest. Sunburn. Ever.
3. Asians
4. Strollers
5. Asians with strollers
6. Hillbillies
7. Not finding an In-N-Out Burger until we were on the freeway on the way to the airport
8. The LA Harry Potter premiere being THREE DAYS after we were leaving. THREE DAYS.
As you can see, the pros outweighed the cons. It was a sick trip, but I'm glad to be home. Three more days off, and then I have to go back to work. Ugh! I think I'm gonna put some pictures from the trip up on myspace, so check it!
