Thank you, voters! Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to two iconmakers this week.

And sorry for the delay. Such great icons this time around, it made voting that much harder. XD Banner-maker this week is a_fast_machine.

16 The composition is imaginative (the location of the text regarding the subject) and the use of light texture is also great -
16 - too blurry and the filter didn't work for me. The difference between the left edge and the rest was too stark.
16 - I'm not sure why the whole icon has to be blurry and the bright overlayed stripe on the left seems unecessary
16 - Love the intensity of the blue! I like how much the focus is on their silhouette, and the text is a nice balancing touch.
16 - The lighting work and the text work are both really lovely in this icon!

10 - The crops isn't really working for me, plus the coloring doesn't add much to it. I like the fact that's it's vibrant and all but it isn't deep and the icon it's a bit dull. With a texture or a text it coul've been better. If it wasn't for the coloring it'd look like an icon bases to me ^^
10 - Holy negative space win! The background extension and smoothing is masterfully done! And the coloring is really lovely as well!
10 - The split in the middle of the background is very odd because it makes me choose between focusing on Dean's back and his hand, and of those two, I'm not sure which one should be the most important because they seem like they shoudl be joined.

08 - the image is oversharpened and I'm not sure the green texture meshes well with the desaturated image of Castiel
08 - The coloring in this one is really quite striking!
08 - I really like the screencap chosen here but I think the image itself is oversharpened and could use some coloring (even if keeping with the same tones). Unfortunately, the added texture doesn't help, but rather increases the oversharpened and pixelated look.
08 - The colors don't work too well with this icon. The icon is over-sharpened.
08 - Grainy/bad image quality, and the strength of the green is an odd match to such a muted blue.
08 - The desaturated coloring doesn't complement the cap and makes the subject lack detail.
08 - The picture looks really low quality to me.
08 - Parts of this appear a bit too sharp.

01 - (fave, no comment)
01 - It's hard to see what's going on in the picture, and the levels don't really enhance the image but rather detract.
01 - The coloring is a bit on the flat side and the separate levels throw off the composition making it hard for the eye to stay and focus.
01 - I love the chosen cap here a great deal, and I think the repetition of the image works really well in this case!
01 - a good classic image and I like the way you've duplicated the image.
