I've watched the movie.. and damn, there really are slash undertones. And I don't just mean how Nigel was staring at Alex in the basement.. or in class, or.. when he turns. Oh wait, he does that stare through the whole movie! And when he wakes Alex, leaning close over him, telling him he has a whole night planned. Kinda sounds like a date. XD
Ah, slashy goodness. But I noticed that part where Nigel leaves him the note for him to come to his house. The note starts with "My Dearest Jack." And there's also the scene where he says almost jokingly to him, "I knew you couldn't resist a late night rendezvous." But one thing I definitely saw was when they're both in the back room after Susan leaves, and Alex curses at him rudely, and Nigel reacts with, "Oh, Jack."
