They talk about what the hell might be going on, and then Sam gets to hear Dean thinking about how he kissed Jo, and he gives Dean a pep talk about not letting himself 'get in his own way' when it comes to her. Dean slaps that down by informing Sam that future Jo dies back home. Sam later talks to Jo about all this.
+ Dean tells Cas that stalking is not cool, but then an event afflicted Cas reveals that future Dean thinks of him as family. ;__;
+ Turns out Jo's afflicted too, so when she wants to talk to Dean bout Cas, they end up talking about a helluva lot more. Feelings that have been all confusing and hidden and shit get thrown out there in the open and they decide to give going for it a try. Dean suggests they adjourn to the Captain's chambers.

There's a lot of talk about threesomes. Dean decides to stay home on the Enterprise while Buffy, Sam, and Jo get their research on to try to combat this.
+ While they're out, an angry Sylar, whose found out about Dean & Jo from Buffy's very public broadcast, confronts Dean and punches him a few times, before Dean's woobie thoughts about family send Sylar running off like a bitch. Sylar runs into Jo on his way out of there and makes her think he's going to kill her. He then goes to steal Claire's power so that he can never die and be the specialest snowflake so Jo will love him.

And then there is a lot of sadness when the night Jo dies comes up in conversation, and he offers her what support he can, in his Dean-like way.
